The Almuñécar, girls, handball team have classified for the Spanish National Championships (juniors).
The team won the Andalusian Championship a few weeks ago in Almería after winning three matches: against the Melilla team (47-7) and the Puertollano team (17-14).
The third match on Sunday the 31st was against Handbol Sant Quirze (Barcelona) and the winning goal came in the last, heart-stopping ten seconds of the match (22-21).
The national championships are between the eight remaining clubs: BM Torrejón, Malkaitz Eskobaloia, BM La Roca, BM Granollers, BM Sanse, CBM Salesianos Pikolinos and Colegio Maravillas.
The venue is still to be made known.
