Wondering what to do with today? Why not take a trip up to the Pago de Guerra Alto above La Herradura for their XV Romería?

To give this romeria its full name, we’re talking about the XV Romería de Nuestra Señora de Fátima y Sagrado Corazón de Jesús.

The procession set off at eight this morning from the Ermita de Pago de Guerra and will make its way to a spot near the Cortijo Caberera for a lunch in the campo; i.e., plenty of wine, food, singing and dancing.

If you’re still alive, or at least conscious, at 19.00h, you can take part in the Misa (church service) and the walk back to the Ermita.

If you’ve already got something planned for today, don’t worry because the Romería de el Pago El Cerval y la de San Isidro is just around the corner.
