The Almuñécar municipal police confiscated 250 kilos of fruit and vegetables that were being sold illegally on the Sunday Market.

The Sunday Market, which is a fund-raising activity, can only put on sale second-hand and handicraft items. The sale of food is strictly forbidden.

The police confiscated the goods, and took the names of the sellers so that they could be reported to the relevant sanctioning administration.
