According to the local branch of the PP in Salobreña, a rubbish-collection strike is imminent and the Town Hall is keeping quiet about it.

According to the Official Regional Gazette (BOJA) The cleaning company CEPSA announced their intention to commence strike action at some point after the 22nd of December. They did this before the Territorial Delegate for Economy, Innovation, Science and Employment at the Junta de Andalucia.

The PP went on to say that whilst company representatives put forward proposals to cover minimum services once a week with 100% of its staff, the Mayor of Salobreña has kept the situation hidden from the populace.

It would appear that before the Christmas break is over (it ends on the 5th) there could well be three alternating days of strike action.
