Not content with winning a top National Geographic prize, Mr Mingorance has come in runner up in the Prix de la Photographie de París.

The jury of this Parisian prize is comprised of top international experts from the photographic world who saw fit to award him Second Prize for his work entitled: Riotinto El Corazón de la Tierra.

Francisco was up against some stiff competition as there were thousands of participants from 85 different countries.
