Almuñécar is expecting around 100 participants for the IV Festival del Parapente, both locals as well as many from abroad. The competition will be held on Saturday the 27th and will begin at 10.00h

The accompanying photo shows the Councillor (Sports) Luis Aragón together with Antonio Castro, who is the Chairman of the Club Parapente Costa Tropical and Leoni Hernan, a representative of Fly Park Almuñécar.

The competition is centred upon hitting a target on Playa Velilla, having launched from Loma del Gato and is divided up into several categories: international, Women, Tandems, as well as by country and longest flight duration.
