Well, this American-style Black Friday is catching on, even on the Costa Tropical – Almuñécar, will be holding one starting Friday the 5th and lasting all weekend, including Monday.

This initiative was announced by the Councillor for Commerce, José Manuel Fernández, after beating out the details with the local shops.

It will be like the successful summer shopping nights, but during the day.

The Councillor considers that it should be a success for two reasons: it’s a bank holiday weekend and there will be plenty of out-of-towners around the municipality, and secondly, Christmas shopping has probably already begun and people are searching for bargains to make their “Christmas budget” go further.
