Almuñécar firemen had their work cut out yesterday, putting out a blazing car on Calle Tenis in Cotobro.

According to the Policía Local de Almuñécar, the car caught on fire as it was being driven along the said lane.

The owner alerted the local emergency services but it took nearly an hour for the firemen to put it out, as well as about 40 sq/m of nearby undergrowth.

Not much left of the car, unfortunately, but at least nobody was hurt.
