A 65-year-old pedestrian was killed by a house brick that an 11-year-old child had let drop from a 4th-storey window.

The incident took place in Ecija in the province of Sevilla, Andalucía.

The impact did not kill the man on the spot but he soon succumbed in the Intensive Care Unit in the main hospital of Sevilla.

The police, upon noting that the façade was intact, realised that the brick hadn’t simply come loose. Neighbours had also told them that a group of kids had taken to throwing objects off the roof terrace of the block.
