The rain over the weekend didn’t manage to dampen the fiesta and the planned activities went ahead, especially the religious procession on Sunday the 12th, which left the chapel at 19.00h.

The procession passed through Caicillos and then back to Venta Luciano before returning to the chapel – drivers will have noticed that their tyres have been screeching thanks to the wax from the procession candles.

The firework display put an end to the days agenda with locals and visitors moving to the fete marquee and the awaiting dance band.
