The Russian National Ballet Company performed in the Majuelo Park to a packed audience on Saturday the 30th.
This prestigious ballet company, formed in 1991, performed Michael Strogoff: The Courier of the Czar, directed by Iván Gromakoy, who is recognized as the best director of choreography in Russia.
The performance, which lasted almost two hours, was full of colourful Cossack dances, thanks to the vivid costumes. In fact, the performance was divided into two parts: the first was this work of Jules Verne, whilst the second part was a display of typical Cossack dances.
