Aquatropic Top Water Park

ALM aquatropic 03 OnLAccording to Trip Advisor, the Almuñécar water park ranks amongst the country’s best water parks, taking the Number Five position.

The reason that Aquatropic stands out amongst the dozens of such facilities in Spain is because it is the only one to use salt water; in fact, it is the only one in the world that does.

Aquatropic, which is 20 years old, occupies 35,000 sq/m and has 13 different attractions.

Here is a list of the top seven water parks in the country:

1: Siam Park
, Costa Adeje, Tenerife, considered the best in world according to Trip Avisor and occupies 185,000 sq/m, making it the biggest in Europe

2: Aqualandia, Benidorm 150,000 sqm/m. This water park was the first one to be built in Spain (1985).

3: Aquopolis, near Madrid. The same company has six other parks across Spain

4: Aqualand, Torremolinos, This water park is biggest on Costa del Sol

5: Aquatropic, Almuñécar, uses only salt water, which makes it unique in the world, 35,000 sq/m.
