Pulimentos del Carmen

PP PulidosPulimentos del Carmen have been polishing stone floors, giving them that newly laid look since 1984.

They tell us that they cover from Nerja to Almuñécar, mainly, but will respond to calls from clients from further afield.

It is worth visiting their website to see some of the excellent photographs from past jobs (see details below).

The two processes that they use are the following:

Microcemento:
MicroCement is a coloured cementitious coating of 1-2 mm thick, which can be laid over existing surfaces such as concrete, ceramics, marble, mosaics, tiles, steel, plaster, gypsum and wood.

It is one of our most versatile refurbishing systems that works well on stairs, countertops, furniture, as well as floors. And it is not messy compared to the traditional alternative of ripping up an existing surface and replacing it.

Diamond-tool Polishing
This is a cleaning system that consists of floor pads prepared with thousands of microscopic diamonds that clean and polish the floor mechanically, instead of using chemicals.

So, if your residence is going to be empty whilst you’re off visiting relations, then that is an excellent time to think about having a new breath of life breathed into your tired stone floors – but don’t forget your sunglasses for when you walk in back through the door!
