A break-down-lorry driver was seriously injured whilst attempting to retrieve a stranded car on the A-44 near Campotéjar, in the north of the province of Granada.
It was an accumulation of bad luck because the man had already winched the car onto the back of the break-down lorry when the accident occurred, at 17.30h on the 16th of June.
[mappress mapid=”132″]A taxi had arrived to pick up the driver of the car when a passing lorry clipped the taxi, launching it up onto the back of the lorry, striking the tow-truck operator.
The 112 helicopter quickly appeared at the scene to take the driver to the ICU in of the main Granada hospital with serious head injuries.
