La Mezquita Lane Prepared for Summer

LHR La Mezquita Lane OnLOne of the biggest fire hazards is dry grass along roadsides, which is why the Mezquita access lane has been cleared.

First Councillor for La Herradura, Juan José Ruiz Joya, explained that this lane and other access lanes for inland settlements such as Pago de Guerra and Rio Jate have also had the grass cut back, too.

In the case of Río Jate, clearing work will begin from the area known as La Argentina.

The lanes for El Cerval and Pago de Guerra were cleared prior to the time for their respective romerias.

On a finishing note, looking at the photo, they could have cut further back on the left-hand side of the track, you would have thought…
