A 49-year-old British man, Andy Bush from Bristol was found dead in Estepona with two bullet wounds to the head. Police are searching for a woman suspect.

The body of the man was found in his rented villa on Avenida Playas del Sol, which is in the Cancelada area of Estepona.

The police are looking for his ex partner, who was the last person to have seen him alive and who could have been present at the time of death.

It was his present-day partner who alerted the emergency services around two in the morning of the 5th of April. She had been unable to gain entrance even though she knew that there was somebody inside.

The fire service arrived, accompanied by the Policía Local, and gained access to find the dead man with the firearm lying next to him.

Stop Press: Ex-girlfriend, 23-year-old swimwear model Mayka Kukucova, – who turned herself into the police of her home country, Slovakia – has claimed she shot him in self-defence – after confronting him over their unborn child. At the moment she is awaiting extradition.

The victim is a well known business man in Bristol and owner of Andrew Davids jewellers in The Galleries

Finally, the Spanish police can now confirm that there was one gunshot wound which caused entry and exit holes, rather than two separate wounds.
