The Nerja Philosophical Group has two items on its February programme:

Firstly, the NPG will be meeting with staff and pupils of the IES Sierra Almijra in Nerja. The date is the 12th and the time 10.15h. They will be discussing Utopias with particular emphasis on that envisaged by St. Thomas More.

Next, their monthly meeting on the 18th at 11.30 in the Capistrano Social Centre, which features Roberta Kettel on the subject of Stoicism – a philosophy for our times? Was Seneca the Younger (Cordoba 4BC – Rome 65AD), philosopher, statesman and dramatist a Saint or a Sinner?
