New Juventudes Musicales Season Begins

Ever faithful to its cultural objectives and the continued support of international fans, Juventudes Musicales de Almuñécar is pleased to announce the start of the 2013/14 season of high-quality musical concerts.

And what better way to begin than with the startling talents of 10-year-old prodigy, the violinist María Dueñas from Granada?

Accompanied by pianist Ángel Jábega (also from Granada), these gifted musicians will appear in Almuñécar’s Auditorium José Martín Recuerda within the Casa de la Cultura, from 8pm on Monday 21st October.

Tickets are available at €7 for adults and €3 for children. We realise that the prices have increased very slightly, but don’t forget that if you join the Association at an annual cost of €40, you can see as many concerts as you like, so it’s well-worth becoming a member since there are some really wonderful events coming up!

One of these concerts is planned for Monday 28th October and will include the duo Beatrix González on the Cello and Alberto González on the Piano, performing a piece written especially for the 70th anniversary of the classic, ‘Le Petit Prince’ by Antoine Saint-Exupéry. This occasion is considered so important, that the local schools will be treated to the same concert during the morning. So, do come along and enjoy this unique experience from 8pm.
