This German chamber philharmonic orchestra is on tour in Spain during the summer, bringing classic music to as many people as possible through its more than 300 programmed concerts throughout the year. They are Sponsored by Mercedes-Benz, which is based in Köln, under the slogan Klassik überall (Classical Music Everywhere).
In its last concert, which was held in the Civic Centre of La Herradura, they performed The Four Seasons (for the Violin/orchestra) by Vivaldi and in the second part, La Pequeña Serenata Nocturna by Mozart, followed by Romanza Andaluza by Sarasate, finishing off with Fantasía de
Carmen (for the Flute/orchestra) by Francios Borne.
Soloists Anar Ibrahimov on the Violin and Ana Palacios on the Flute gave a fantastic performance.
This was the last of three concerts during July, with the first two given in the Castle and Plaza Nueva.
