Marco Peñalver and Carlos Rodriguez, from the Almuñécar-based club, Show Time BMX, won the Spanish BMX championships in San Vicente del Raspeig, Alicante.

Marco Peñalver dominated all the classification stages and ended up beating his maximum rival, Miquel Hernández from Cataluña in the finals. He led from the first curve on the circuit and held the lead all the way to the finishing line.

Carlos Rodríguez was the clear favourite in his category, having demonstrated in the Copa de España, that he was a stronger contender than any other competitor.

Alejandro Guirado competed for the first time in Cruiser category, and even though he suffered a fall in the first lap, he still managed to obtain third place in his race.
