The access lane to this hamlet in the north of the municipality of Almuñécar is having 104,000 euros spent on it. The first step is to widen it so that two cars can pass, and then secondly the surface will be tarmacked.
The Town Hall managed to squeeze the necessary funds from the Junta, citing the topography and rain-drainage problems, which is why this latter problem will be dealt with, as well.
[mappress]The Town Hall also hints that they might be able to land another 200,000 from the Junta under the Ecamina2 scheme, which is run by the Agricultural department of the Junta, meaning that other rural tracks and lanes can be improved.
Anybody would think that there were elections coming up next month!
