Miguel Castilla, owner of Restaurante Reina Sofia on the paseo of that same name, is always finding ways to bring new gastronomic ideas to Almunecar. For the second time, he has invited a top chef to come down to Almunecar and co-host a ‘gastronomic day.’

Sergio Fernandez has taken part in gastronomic fairs in Prague, Warsaw, Zurich and Tokyo, as well as appearing  at conferences in Molecular Cuisine at the University of Johannesburg and Pretoria. He is Director of the Aula de Cocina Española and is an adviser on Spanish foodstuffs at the Gastronomic School of Moscow. He also hosts the Cocinamos Contigo, on the cuisine TV channel.

Tomorrow, Thursday the 18th is the big day, when Miguel and Sergio will be offering seven different dishes. Miss it at your own taste-bud peril!
