Alan Parsons’ Motril Concert

To say that the Alan Parsons’ concert was packed out is an understatement, judging by the queue to get in, which was almost a kilometre long.  People had come from all over the country, as it is his only concert in Spain.

Alan Parsons found a similarity, he claimed, between where he lives, Santa Barbera in California, and Motril, because of the sea with a mountain back drop.

On a stage that was almost 10 metres high, the 70’s and 80’s legend with such hits as Eye in the Sky, Alan Parsons’ rewarded his loyal fans with 40,000 sound watts of his best music.

Talking of Motril, who didn’t enjoy listening to his music, together with the newly released Pink Floyd album The Wall  in the Chaparral pub in the 80’s?
