The Guardia Civil arrested a young man and a minor on a building site in Velilla, whom they had caught in the act of allegedly stripping copper from electrical installations.

The 21-year-old man and 16-year-old minor had already trashed a crane, as well as the mains box for the whole building, according to the police report, in their attempt to make off with hundreds of metres of copper cable. The Guardia surprised them just as they were leaving.
