Loves Labour Lost – The painted furniture people: Working together with Annie Sloan, Patricia Gray and Jane Warnick have launched an eclectic range of creative furniture.
All the furniture is created using the exclusive annieSLOAN Chalk-Paint range and decorative paint, protected by resilient varnish or wax for a truly professional finish.
When I spoke to Jane earlier in the week, she put it in a nutshell exactly what they do, “We paint furniture.” Their work ranges from a simple, shabby, chic look to highly worked, decorative finishes. They have a wide selection of brand new wooden furniture or once-loved, abandoned pieces that have taken the girls’ fancy. Once you have chosen your piece, together you can discuss your ideas to create a colour and design sample, so you can see the end result.
Annie Sloan studio, which is currently based in La Herradura, is now expanding sales to Marbella, Madrid and Sitges and has plans for a road show in Spain and also the UK in the not so distant future.
For further information or to gain a better idea of their beautiful creations have a look at their new website www.loveslabourslost.com or for daily updates or comments take a look at their blog.
