A court in Motril has found an Englishman, resident of Castell de Ferro, guilty of causing bodily harm to his wife.
He was sentenced to 12-months’ imprisonment for having struck his wife about the head and threatening to kill her with a kitchen knife, according to the press release.
He is also forbidden to approach within 300 metres of his wife and from communicating with her in any shape or form during the next two years.
