The Las Tejas football pitch now sports its new turf, which is artificial, as Dave probably mentioned last month. Other work carried out on the site was the installation of new pipe work for the drains and the watering system, six watering jets, a water tank and the necessary pressure pump.

The building firm that is carrying out the work is now engaged in sorting out the changing rooms and final touches so that the whole lot will be ready for the beginning of the football season.
