Talking of death, many of us were shocked and saddened to hear that Juan, who used to run the Mississippi, had been killed in a road accident. Juan Martínez Rodríguez, 37, who later became an associate of the Altillo 15 discotheque on the Paseo del Altillo leaves behind a wife and two young kids.
Apparently, Juan lost control of his motorbike and slammed into a large 4×4 coming the opposite way, just outside Sorbas in Almería.
I particularly remember Juan because I used to give him English classes when he first opened the Mississippi. He was a really nice bloke, who will be missed by many. Our condolences for those he leaves behind.
