(LP) Tucked away in a little corner of Motril’s town centre a delightful little gallery-come-art centre has recently opened its doors. Run by the fabulous and somewhat eccentric Virginia Ruiz Mansilla this creative little haven offers local artists the chance to exhibit their work and rub shoulders with other like-minded souls.
Virginia oozes enthusiasm and is constantly channelling her energy into promoting local artists and encouraging fresh new talent with various different classes and workshops.
When I popped in to take a little look at what was happening the place was brimming with paintings from large, colourful abstracts to much more classical, still-life oil paintings. Watch this space, as I’ll be interviewing the vibrant lady herself next month and finding out a little more about what’s on the artistic agenda. Meanwhile I highly recommend stopping by for a gander and to show some support for this beautiful little gallery.
