Just two minutes from the beach, this restaurant delivers on all fronts. The place itself would be worth a visit, even without the food, and it is just as beautiful now as it was when I used to partake of a drink or two there, nearly 30 years ago.
Add to this a 10€ menu del dia, and even entertainment in the form of a flamenco evening every Thursday from 9.15pm, and just to top everything off, the food is absolutely excellent.
Great venue, excellent food, great friendly service and brilliant value for money… anything needed? Well, if you do decide to do the sensible thing and try this place out, while you’re there it’s well worth checking out the photos around the walls, depicting Almuñécar from days gone by. In fact I’m sure I saw the Ed in one from 1906…
