The month of April saw a special charity dinner in the Peña Parda Restaurant, in aid of the Spanish Association against Cancer. To say the event was well attended would be an understatement, with the venue packed to the gunnels!
The diners were treated to a four course meal, and were entertained by a group of singers, after which several people who had lost someone to this horrible disease moved onto the beach and released yellow balloons, both in memory of those lost and in hope for the future.
The event raised more than €1,800 for this most worthy of causes, and it was clear that everybody involved had a great time.
