
The Almuñécar Policía Local announced that during this month and August there will be no Friday or Sunday street markets, which is normal during the summer periods.
If you live in Almuñécar, you will have noticed that there was no Friday street market, nor will there be the Sunday one, as mercadillos have been suspended.
Almuñécar has received the initial approval of its new bylaw concerning street markets and hawking. The one it will supercede dates back to 1994.
The Salobreña night-time, street markets began on the Friday the 7th and will run every Friday throughout the summer until the 1st week of September.
