The entrance tickets for the inauguration of the Castillo de La Calahorra on the 26th all sold out in short time.

Consequently, if you were hoping to visit this weekend, it is a forlorn home unfortunately, because the interest shown in this castle that dates back to 1509 with a design belonging to the Italian Renaissance is already vast.

The next shot at copping an entrance ticked will be Friday the 3rd of October, including the Saturday and Sunday of that weekend.

If you do manage to get a ticket on this this tour, available in groups of up to 30 people, you will get to see the inner workings of the castle, including the basements, which housed the dungeons for the Moorish prisoners who were transported to the Granada chancellery.

Tickets can be booked on this website, and the schedule is currently open until November 30th.
