The hiking season has begun again for the very popular, Almuñécar walkers’ club (PMD), with eight weekend (Sunday) routes lined up.
The first one was actually on a Saturday, the 22nd of last month and was a night walk between Capileira and Trevélez where participants had the chance to see a waterfall in the moonlight in the Barranco de Cortes.
There will be two walks per months, which are as follows:
7th October: Bubión,Peña del Ángel,Acequias,Paseo Marítimo de Pitres. Lasts: five hours.
21st October: Senda del Aguadero (Rio Andarax, Almeria) Lasts: seven hours.
4th November: Bosques de Jérez del Marquesado (near Guadix). Lasts: six hours.
8th November: Arroyo Baúl-Pino de La Señora (Sierra de Baza) Lasts: six hours.
2nd December: Alfarnatejo-Periana (Málaga) Lasts: six hours.
16th December: Collado Volaores (Sierra Nevada) Lasts: six hours
All trips begin from the bus station around 07.30h – bring the appropriate clothing and footwear for the season/weather.
Prices are €12 per excursion, or you can buy purchase ten excursions for 100 euros.
