In the case of the girl, the accident occurred in Atarfe, just outside Granada, and as in the case of the boy, it happened at home.
According to the Mayor of Atarfe, Francisco Rodríguez, the incident took place at 10.00h on Friday the 12th of May in the bathroom when the girl, apparently, operated a hairdryer whilst standing in the shower unit.
As for the 10-year-boy, he died after handling bare wires from a table lamp having just climbed out of the shower. The incident occurred in Cáceres around ten in the evening on the 1st of May. Doctors tried for over an hour to revive the lad but to no avail.
