It was nearly four in the morning in Pamplona and a young male driver decided to park; his parking was impeccable but his choice of parking space was very erroneous.

The 38-year-old man had driven into an underground car park, but it wasn’t a public one, but instead the municipal car park for police vehicles, so it was not exactly a surprise when he was approached by a policeman to ask him what he was doing.

Evidently under the influence, he not only refused to take a breathalyser – which is worse than getting a positive reading – but also his driving licence was out-of-date.
