An ambulance crew rescued a driver from a car wreck and was rushing him to hospital when they found that he had a bullet wound in his head.
The 47-year-old victim is in the ICU of Hospital de Traumatología in Granada in a very critical state.
The emergency services had received a call at 23.10h from a citizen to say that there had been a road accident on the outskirts of Pinos Puente on Sunday the 15th.
They found the car and with one occupant, which had collided with a concrete crash barrier. There was so much blood on his head that the paramedics didn’t see the entry wound left by a bullet until he was already loaded into the ambulance and they were on their way.
The victim’s wife received a call from the police at two in the morning to say what had happened to her husband – she hadn’t seen him since five the previous afternoon.
The police went back to the vehicle and found a pistol and a small box containing Tranquimazin.
