Motril Firemen had to evacuate a 3-storey block of flats in Castell de Ferro when a fire broke out on the first floor.
This large fire, which was on Calle Granada in Castell, meant that everybody in the block had to be got out because of the intense smoke, but despite a prompt evacuation, one of the residents had to be treated for smoke inhalation.
The fire was extinguished without damage to the rest of the structure, and consequently, the block residents were allowed to return to their homes that same day; Wednesday the 29th.
The cause of the fire has not yet been established.
