The local board of the Asociación Española Contra el Cáncer (AECC) in Almuñécar will be putting on the III Festival por la Vida tomorrow.

The event, planned for 19.00h on the 6th of June will be held at the Casa de la Cultura, according to its Chairwoman, Rosina Ruiz Vela.

The Festival por la Vida started three years ago, thanks to the collaboration of several school and dance groups from Almuñécar, who between them put together a cultural event to raise funds for investigation into child cancer.

This year, the event will be presented by the actress, singer, pianist and show-woman, Eloisa Martín,  with the participation of such groups as Aires de la Sierra, Almainova, Andalucía Baila, Aromar, Artedanza, Tropical Woman Gym, Niño Carmelo and María La Canastera.

The AECC wishes to express its thanks to all who are participating in the event and for the support offered by the Town Hall.

Now they only need the townsfolk to do their part and come along and enjoy the event!
