A 65-year-old, British resident met his death whilst working with earth-moving machinery in Torrox. The Incident occurred on the 14th on his own land.

Pensioner Andrew John M, was carrying out earth-moving work with a digger and had got down into the trench that he had dug when the side of a trench gave way, burying him up to his neck.

A driver who had arrived to deliver building materials later found him, but he was already dead.
