Two transport companies are bidding for the juicy municipal bus service. Whoever wins, the new service will begin on the 2nd of January next year.

First of all, the four buses used will be new ones, thanks to the conditions stipulated by the Town Hall.

Line Three, for example, will depart from La Nacla, passing through the centre and the industrial estate, before terminating in Ventillas and Puntalón.

Secondly, besides the three already established bus routes, there will also be a circular route to provide extra coverage.

Finally, the new buses will be low-slung ones to make it easier for those passengers with mobility problems. Here’s a photo of the new vehicles…
