Municipal Pool Update

According to Vice Mayor, Antonio Escámez, the municipal swimming pool could be open to the public again by the middle of this month. He went to pains to point out that the building work was completely necessary and long overdue – the last major reforms were carried out over ten years ago, he said.

Some of the 2,000 people a month that use the municipal facilities have been using the Almuñécar municipal pool, in the meantime, thanks to an agreement between the two town halls.
