Right! Let’s start with the positive news, before moving onto the Chunga News; i.e., negative news. Residents of Motril will now be able to carry out all their municipal bureaucratic tasks online, announced the Town Hall.
The boys at the Palace of Gloom called a press conference to present their new Internet portal, so that you can queue in the luxury of your own home (waiting for the page to load, perhaps) rather than in the despondent corridors of the town’s municipal brick epicentre.
The Mayor is understandably chuffed, claiming, “This fact puts Motril on the same level as other big towns, facilitating an access for citizens to online paperwork, which will do away with queuing, which causes Motrileños to waste time unnecessarily.” Being a politician, he was unable to express that in a simpler and more grammatically acceptable manner, bless him.
Seriously, though, the Internet site officials several advantages to actually plodding along to the Town Hall, one of which is that access is 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
I had a look at the web page, which you can access at: www.emotril.es and it seems to be done in a pretty shipshape and Bristol fashion and despite my above quip concerning page loading, the connection was instantaneous. Enhorabuena, Motril.
