Halloween at Brujas!

LHR Brujashal13The 31st of October sees the arrival of Halloween, and of course there is only one place worth going to on Halloween… Brujas (Witches) in La Herradura!
As they have every year, Ana and Auxi will be celebrating with a special night of celebration in the bar from 8pm til late, with their particular flair and fun, horror, colour and different take on Halloween celebrations. I was lucky enough to attend last year, and had a really good time. Not only were there plenty of foreign residents, but also people who had travelled huge distances, just to celebrate Halloween with the witches!
Ana tells me they will be hosting a terrifying evening, with monsters and surprises… Honestly, you really should go along to this one, as loads of people dress up to the nines as witches, monsters and ghouls, it’s great fun for kids and adults alike, and occasionally you recognise someone underneath their mask or makeup.
Of course I have to apply a whole heap of makeup to hide my pretty boy looks, whereas the Ed just has to stick on a pointy hat and Bob’s your uncle!
Just a quick note… they are also doing a promotion during October during which you can sample all the tapas on the menu, and have a nice bottle of red or white wine, all for just 17€. Having tried every tapa they have ever produced, I can vouch for this being well worth a visit!
