Here is a quick message from the very nice Nicola, who runs Weight Watchers in our area. If you’re thinking about losing weight, then I cannot think of a nicer person to rely on for the support and advice needed when you decide to change your life. Believe me, for the time she spends listening to my tales of woe, the lady should be canonised for her patience alone! Take it away Nicola:
What is the new Weight Watchers Discover Plan? It’s a diet with a difference. It’s based around four main principles: food (eating the right foods), behaviour (recognising whether you’re hungry or not and knowing when to stop eating), support (attending the group meetings) and exercise (doing more activity in your everyday life).
As well as the famous Points Plan there’s also a new Filling Foods list and ‘weight training’ advice. This isn’t lifting weights at the gym, it’s about helping you to listen to your body and suss out when you’re eating for hunger or for other reasons.
The goal of the Discover Plan is to help you change your eating habits and lifestyle for good so that you keep the weight off.
My meeting days and times are:-
Monday 10.30am Hotel Arrayanes, Cotobro
Monday 5.30pm, La Bamba, La Herradura
Tuesday 10.30am Legends, Salobrena.
