La Herradura has a ceramics & sculpture exposition running at the moment in the Pepe Gámez exhibtion hall in the Centro Cívico, with the title of Materia Viva.

The pieces on display, which remain open to viewing up to and including the 6th, belong to Renata Barcelos (sculputres) and Emilio Alaminos (ceramics). Viewing hours are from 10.00h to 14.00h and 16.00h to 22.00h. Entrance is free.

Renata Barcelos has a career linked to sculpture, in which she works with materials such as stone, marble, and onyx, as well as incorporating porcelain into her artistic production, inspired by the shapes on Nature and combines the volume & solidity of materials with organic forms.

Emilio Alaminos develops his work in the field of artistic and artisanal ceramics from his workshop in La Caleta de Salobreña. His activity is linked to modeling, ceramic decoration, and experimentation with shapes and glazes.
