The next film in English will be The Dressmaker on Tuesday the 15th at 18.00h at the Casa de la Cultura.

Synopsis: This Australian comedy drama is a story of revenge: Myrtle Dunnage (Kate Winslet) returns to her small town in rural Australia, but now as a glamorous, haute-couture dressmaker, under a new name.

She soon sets about transforming the local women and at the same time exacting revenge on those who did her wrong: as a schoolgirl she had been branded a murderess and driven out of town by the victim’s father; a town councillor.

Starring: Kate Winslet, Judy Davis and Liam Hemsworth.
