Dear Ed

I pay for my rubbish collection & I appreciate that this is collected every night outside my door. I have tried to separate paper/plastic/bottles etc but I have watched it all going mixed up with the rest.

There are recycling bins out of town, but if you don’t have a car & are elderly how can you carry bags of heavy bottles/paper etc miles away?

I’ve already been to the Town Hall over this matter, but they will NOT put any recycling bins nearer to where people live.

Do your readers have any ideas how to rectify this situation? Yours (trying to be ecologically minded)
