Antonio M.R. is now in prison, after driving his car through a church’s main door… he was hauling a trailer full of artichokes at the time… This surprising incident occurred in Totana, or more specifically, in the Iglesia de Santiago el Mayor.

Harley Davison Meet

Almuñécar was invaded by a host of 200, legendary, Harley Davison motorbikes over the weekend (4th/5th) – there was more black leather and studs present than at Tory MP’s stag night.

Gardening Department on the Rampage

The Gardening Department at the Almuñécar Town Hall have been working their socks off, cutting back the vegetation at the entrance to Cotobro on the N-340. They have been doing the same to Urbanización El Montañés, as well.

Nerja Girls Win Andalusian Championship

The Nerja juniors volleyball team for girls was proclaimed Andalusian Champions in that sport and category. This means that the team will go on to play in the national championships, which will be held in Barcelona on the 22nd of this month.

Biggest Bust Ever

The Guardia Civil intercepted a drugs shipment aboard a lorry from Morocco containing over 32 tonnes of hashish – this is the largest amount of drugs ever taken in one bust on dry land.
