Adult Beach Exercise

Has anyone had a go on the new exercise equipment, designed specifically for adults and installed on the beach?
The technical guys tell us that the equipment is designed and built to a very high specification with high end materials, as every piece of apparatus must meet the standards required in a traditional gym, and therefore meet all the criteria and safety standards that would be required in any normal gymnasium.

Tennis Court Damage

Someone has been vandalising the tennis courts in Las Palomas. Local residents tell me it has been a regular occurrence for some time now.

Castle Work Resumes

After a full year standing idle, the renovation works have restarted at La Herradura Castle. The work includes a dig by archaeologists from the School of Arabic Studies in Granada.

Giselle Lebrun, Artist

The Centro Civico saw an exhibition during November by Giselle Lebrun whose exciting images are created using acrylic colours. Although mainly landscapes, she also paints concrete! Local Crime

Once again crime became a talking point in the village, with reports of burglaries and attempted burglaries to several bars in the village, and even one or two empty properties in Carmenes have been broken into

Jack Arrives

Has anyone heard? Yes, that’s right, I became a dad on 11/11/09, to Jack, who weighed in at 6lb 9oz, with mother and baby both in the best of health.
